Work Readiness equips individuals with the fundamental business knowledge, cultural awareness and confidence necessary to enter the world of work in today’s day and age.

TDI equips candidates with the tools needed to set personal and career goals, manage their time more efficiently, communicate positively with others, and prepare for the workplace by advising and guiding candidates on their work attire, punctuality and attitude.

Even when educated, many South Africans lack the core and basic knowledge of how to prepare for and enter the workplace, and meet the expectations that are set out by employers.

Effective Work Readiness provides a platform for career growth and personal empowerment, and is not only suitable for first time work seekers, but also for existing employees where the employer aims to provide additional training to contribute to team coherence and ultimately the organization’s success.

Year on year, employers identify that the key skills gaps of new recruits includes and prepare for the workplace by advising and guiding them on their work attire, punctuality and attitude.

Not only are these foundational skills critical for job performance, but they are also a needed pre-requisite for individuals to begin building a career. Employers have argued that these basic skills are just as important as the technical skills required for the job.

In preparation for the workplace, TDI provides candidates with the skills needed to compile a professional CV and prepare them for their first interaction with an employer. Candidates are guided on ways to promote their employability, by identifying their strengths and how to best showcase these in an interview to show the employer the value that they will provide to the organization.

We assist candidates in preparing for interviews, by discussing potential questions that may be asked, understanding various work-based assessments, role playing possible scenarios and practicing suitable responses.
