Disabled Learning Opportunities

A disability is defined as a condition brought on by an accident, trauma, genetics or disease, which hinders one’s mobility, hearing, vision, speech and intellectual or emotional functioning.

The Employment Equity Act defines people with a disability as having a long-term or recurring physical impairment (including sensory or mental) which limits their possibility of entry into employment or growth in their position within an organization.

TDI facilitates in the sourcing and placement of disabled candidates participating in learning programmes across a multitude of industry sectors. Opportunities are aligned to the candidates’ specific needs and their ability to fulfill the role, together with the client’s business requirements and expectations. By coupling candidates with suitable opportunities, we develop a platform to assist in the growth and development of the candidate’s skill set, whilst ultimately providing value to their organization.

TDI works closely with clients to identify and understand opportunities that they can provide to the disabled community. Our pre-screening process ensures that candidates are placed on programmes that will assist with their long-term growth and facilitate in the progression of their careers.
